dgar Larry Head Sr., 71, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.He worked in maintenance with Rockwell and was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served as a paratrooper with the 101
st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell. He attended True Vine Full Gospel Church and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Head, his daughter ~ Christine Hall (Retired Lt. Colonel Richard Hall) ~ Huntsville, Ala,; his son ~ Edgar Head, Jr. (Kim) ~ Louisville; his brothers ~ William B. Head (Beverly ) ~ Marble Falls, Texas, and David A. Head (Tresa) ~ Russellville; his sister ~ Susan Stratton ( Milton ) ~ Russellville; and three grandchildren ~ Alex Hall, Andrew Hall and Eliana Head.
A Celebration of Life Service for Edgar Larry Head, Sr. will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held Sunday evening from 4:30 p.m. until the service hour at 7 p.m.
