Juanita Oberhausen Carneal, 83, of Highland Lick Road, Russellville, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at her home.  She was a Logan County native, born July 3, 1931 to the late V. K. Oberhausen and Ruby Mae Gray Oberhausen. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served in the Woman’s Club.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Mason Carneal.

She is survived by her son ~ Bernie Kenneth Carneal (Kathy ) ~ Madisonville, Tenn.;her daughter ~ Lois J. Latham (Dean) ~ Russellville; her brothers ~ Bill Oberhausen, Bobby Oberhausen and Ben Oberhausen, all of Russellville, and Denny Oberhausen  ~ Auburn; her sisters ~ Lolita Bryan and Elizabeth Mason ~ both of Russellville,              Linda Grace Alexander ~ Adairville, and Margaret Ann Ryan ~ North Carolina; her grandchildren ~ Ryan and Lauren Carneal ~ both of Madisonville, Tenn., and                               Amy and Chris Bromm ~ both of Russellville; her great-grandchildren ~ Kyla Roe ~ Elkton; Caitlynn Hutchison ~ Lewisburg, and Trevor Bromm ~ Russellville.

A funeral mass for Juanita Oberhausen Carneal will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jojy Joseph officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Monday, July 28, from 5 p.m. until  pm, with a Rosary Service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
