Richard G. Harper of Union Church Road, Russellville, passed away Wednesday,

July 30, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Montgomery County, Tenn. on Oct. 28, 1944 to the late Felix Galloway Harper and Mamie Russell Harper. He was a farmer and member of the Fellowship Church of Christ.  

He is survived by his wife, Janice Harper, his sons ~ Galloway Harper ~ Allensville, and Jason Harper (Tracy) ~ Russellville; his step-son ~ Duane Triplett ~ Gainesville, Fla,; his daughter ~ Ginger Harper Robertson (Glen) ~ Russellville; and his grandchildren ~ Harper Butler and Brayden Stone.

Funeral services for Richard G. Harper will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Harris Dockins and Danny Williams officiating with burial to follow in the Belmont Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, Aug. 1, from 4-8 p.m. and after 8 a,m. Saturday until the funeral hour of 11.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to The Healing Hands International, Project  Genesis 1:1 Well Number 3.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  

Pallbearers will be Don Halcomb, Eldred Black, Scottie Harper, Sam Foster, Bill Walden and Rice Gill. Honorary Pallbearers: Ron Hooper, Horace Foster Jr., Joe Dorris, Dr. Bill Webb and Mike Boyles.
