Linda Sue Farmer, 76, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born July 26, 1942 to the late Bennett Ewing Mantlo and Ruby Pearl Thomas Mantlo. She worked as a private caregiver, was a member of New Union Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Kay Sharp.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Sue Vysa and Boyd, Sherry Ann Higgins and Mitchell, and Jennifer Lynn Terry and Denarius, all of Russellville; her brothers, Boyce Mantlo and Butch Mantlo, both of Russellville; her sister, Debbie Ann Shoulders of Russellville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Linda Sue Farmer will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
