Alonzo Edward Clayton, age 67, of Louisiana, formerly of Olmstead, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on August 6, 1951 in Glasgow to the late Alonzo Raymond Clayton and Marie Rhode Clayton. Mr. Clayton served in the United States Army for 21 years where he retired with Honors.

Funeral services for Alonzo Edward Clayton will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, Kentucky with Bro. Perryn Dillard officiating. Visitation will be conducted Monday, July 8, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Summers, Kirby, and Sanders Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the cemetery.
