Ressie Estelle Croxton Scifres, 98, of Boyles Drive, Russellville, passed away Aug. 17, 2014 at Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Saline County, Arkansas on July 18, 1916 to the late Argus Croxton and Effie Scarbrough Croxton. She was an educator with the Arkansas School System for 25 years and member of Southern Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cullen Scifres.
She is survived by:her son ~ Michael L. Scifres (Sue ) ~ Eufala, Okla.; her daughter ~ Martha Scifres Davis (Bill) ~ Russellvilld: her four grandchildren ~ including Jamie Metcalfe (Todd) ~ Bowling Green and Jon Davis (Liza) ~ St. Michael, Minn.; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services for Ressie Estelle Croxton Scifres will be held at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors in Pine Bluff, Ark.
