Sarabelle Homer Vaughn, 87, of Lewisburg, died on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at her home in Lewisburg. She was born Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1926 in Wilson, Okla., the daughter of the late Cecil Homer and the late Hattie Belle Kennerly Homer. She was the wife of Tommy Vaughn for 71 years, who survives.
She was an office manager for Vaughn Heating & Air and a member of Worldwide Church of God.
Also surviving are her sons, Rodney Vaughn (Helen) and Bruce Vaughn (Anna), all of Lewisburg; her daughters, Cheryl Whitescarver (Dean) of Lewisburg,, Janeen Thomas (Gary) of Lewisburg, and Carol Dye of Tulsa, OKla.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, David Vaughn; her brother, Cecil David Homer Jr. of Houston, Texas, and her sister, Joy Harrington of Tempe, Ariz.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Lewisburg Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
