Otis Belcher, 86, of Clarksville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at Grace Healthcare in Clarksville. He was a Logan County native, born Aug. 31, 1928 to the late Ervin Belcher and Carrie McMillian Belcher. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Crossland Avenue Baptist Church in Clarksville.
He is survived by his son. Kenneth Earl Belcher ~ Orlando, Fla.; his daughters, Sheila Galapon (Mark) ~ Clarksville,Sheryl Tranberg (Dave) ~ Woodstock, Ga., and Lisa Cropper (Weldon) ~ Russellville; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Otis Belcher will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Kail officiating with burial to follow in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2.
