Flossie Owens Majors, 88, of Russellville, died on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was born Monday, May 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Norman E. "Jack" Owens and the late Emma Neel Owens. She was the wife of the late George Majors.
She was employed by Logan County School System. Prior to that she was employed by Todd County School System.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Charles Gale Brown (Nancy) of Elkton; her daughters, Phyllis Kennedy and Vicki Penrod, both of Russellville; her brother, Bill Owens of Russellville; her grandchildren, Deanna Kilpatrick (Mike) of Uvalde, Texas, Travis Settle of Russellville, Maleah Goodall of Russellville, Angela Brown (Chris) of Olmstead, Rodney Brown (Jenny) of Elkton; Nicole Morris (Tony) of Springfield, and Courtney Craig (David) of Russellville; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Monday, July 15, at Price Funeral Home.
