James “ Jim” Bishop, 48, of Pond River Road, Elkton, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at his home. He was born in Erie, Penn. on April 1, 1966 to Robert J. Sayers and Lillen Spath Bishop. He worked at Fort Campbell, Ky. for the U.S. Army, Department of Defense. He was of the Christian faith and an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.
He is survived by his mother ~ Lillen Bishop ~ Kodiak, Tenn.; his wife ~ Kory Korenna Bishop; his sons ~ James Allen Bishop ~ Elkton, and Steven Ford ~ Adairville; his daughters ~ Ashlie Deserai Bishop ~ Elkton and Christin Ford ~ Bowling Green; his brother ~ Joseph Bishop (Kimberly) of Tampa, Fla.; his sister ~ Tricia Foucheaux ( Charles ) ~ Kodiak, Tenn.; his niece ~ Kailyn R. Bishop and his great-niece ~ Harley Bishop.
A Celebration of Life service for James “Jim” Bishop will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m.
