Charlotte Diane Atkins, 57, of Lewisburg, entered into eternity on Aug. 10, 2019. She was born in Commerce, Ga., on July 4, 1962, the daughter of the Ira Morgan and the late Mary Dorris Morgan. She lived most of her life in Nashville. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted wife.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-dad, Leon Morgan, and an infant brother.
Along with her father, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronnie Atkins; her sons, Rocky (Christy) Atkins and Timothy (Barbara) Atkins, all of Portland, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, BreAnna, Paul, Shawn, Emily, Hailey, Kristan (Bradley), Codie, Austin (Kendra), Cheyenne and Hunter; her great-grandchildren, Mason and Xavier; her sisters Cathy (William) Crane and Karen (David) Larochelle and her brother, Jason (Erin) Morgan; and many other loved ones
Charlotte did her final good deed in life by willing her body to ScienceCure to help find cures for other cancer patients.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
