Charles F. Stanley, 72 of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was born Friday, Jan. 23, 1942 in Simpson County, the son of the late William Lonnie Stanley and the late Nola Bogle Stanley. He was the husband of Betty Jo Stanley, who survives.
He was a factory worker supervisor for Red Kap and a National Guard Veteran of the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Pat Stanley of Russellville; his daughter, Barbara Wilson of Auburn; his brothers, Jimmy Stanley of Franklin, Bobby Stanley of Auburn and Ronnie Stanley of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his sister, Florance Sears of Russellville; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, William Henry Stanley, and his sisters, Maybelle Smith and Virginia Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Ky. 42256 with the Rev. Wayne Hunter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
