William Mitchell Coles, 74, of Auburn, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at Logan Memorial Hospital. He was a Logan County native, born Oct. 11, 1939 to the late William Curtis Coles and Annie Mattie Minton Coles. He was a farmer and member of Bucksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Bucksville Saddle Club.
He is survived by his brother ~ Mendell Coles ~ Auburn; his sister ~ Mary Coles ~ Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Tommy Coles and James Coles and sister Annie Mae Johnson.
Funeral Services for William Mitchell Coles will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Chyle and Bro. David Youngblood officiating with burial in the Bucksville Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be today until the funeral hour of 11 a.m.
