Isabelle Long, 99, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton. She was a Logan County native, born Sept. 30, 1919 to the late Thomas Mason and Myrtie McCormick Mason. She was a homemaker and member of New Union Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wardell Rufus Long.
She is survived by her son, Mackdell Long and wife Sheila of Russellville; her daughter, Carolyn Batchelor and husband Ellis of Russellville; her grandchildren, Keith Batchelor and wife Shannon, Laura Batchelor, and Timothy Batchelor; here great-granddaughters, Olivia Batchelor and Jaclyn Batchelor; caregivers Barbara Veneble, Vickie Powell and Maggie Powell.
Graveside services for Isabelle Long will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. Calvin Naylor and Father Ken Mikulcik officiating.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the graveside.
