Maxine Gaw, 74, of Hillside Drive, Russellville, passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton. She was a Todd County native, born Feb. 11, 1940 to Richmond Pearson Johnson and Zelma Kanier Johnson. She worked at Emerson Electric Company, was an avid doll collector and enjoyed babysitting children. She was a member of the Mount Vernon General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brothers ~ Julian Johnson ~ Sharon Grove, and John Johnson ~ Hopkinsville; a Special Niece ~ Shannon Coble ~ Clarksville; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Johnson.
Funeral services for Maxine Gaw will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Willhite officiating and burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m.
