Walter “Pete” Hadden, 86, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 at Auburn Healthcare. He was born in Elkton, on Oct. 10, 1933 to the late Samuel Hadden and Eddie Dukes Williams. He was a farmer and worked for the Street and Water Departments for the City of Russellville and was a member of Sharon Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hazel Hadden; his son, Steve Hadden of Russellville; his daughter, Theresa Anderson and Glenn of Russellville; his sister, Carolyn Williams of Hopkinsville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Walter “Pete” Hadden will be conducted at noon on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Davenport and Bro. Chris Skipworth officiating with burial to follow in Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
