Curtis Ramsey, 80, of Adairville, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at his home. He was a Logan County native born Feb. 22, 1939 to the late Clarence Ramsey and Lucille Shoulders Ramsey. He was a U/S. Army National Guard veteran and retired after 40 years from Rockwell. He was a member of Faith is the Victory Church in Nashville, and former youth minister at Living Word Church.

He was also a former member of the Adairville City Council and Mayor of Adairville.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda Ramsey; his sons, Keith Ramsey and wife Tammeria of Adairville and Jeff Ramsey and wife Tonja of Munford, Tenn.; his daughters, Vickie Harrell and husband Milton of Jacksonville and Debbie Neel and husband Phillip of Adairville; his brothers, Ed Shoulders and Ann of Adairville, Donald Ramsey and wife Sue of Pocahontas, Ill., and William Ramsey and wife Marilyn of Fredericksburg, Va.; his grandchildren, Jon Paul Lyne, Keshia Stamps, Faith Lynn Smith, Kaleb Kemp, Zack Ramsey and Alex Townsend; and his great-grandchildren, Maylie, Mason, Koda, Keatin, Callie, Claycee, Bae, Kamden, Kenzi, Austin, Emma, Cristian and Olivia.

Funeral services for Curtis Ramsey will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Cowan officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday, Nov. 18, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.

Memorial donations may be made to the Children and Youth Ministry of Faith is the Victory Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
