Frankie Mayes, 91 of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
He was born Thursday, Aug. 2, 1928, the son of the late Isaac Mayes and the late Bertha Joines Mayes. He was the husband of the late Agnes Pauline Coursey Mayes.
He was a maintenance technician and an electrician. Frankie also attended Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Larry Mayes of Hendersonville; his daughter, Shirley Risinger of Wadesville, Ind.; his brother, Samuel Martin Mayes of Tywhoppity, Ky.; his four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church located at 5529 Deerlick Rd. Lewisburg. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg. Visitation will also start at 9 a.m. on Monday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church and will continue until the time of the service.
