Minnie Louise Pursley, 93, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born Nov. 14, 1926 to the late Herbert Pursley and Roxie Willeford Pursley. She worked in the winding room of Emerson Electric for 37 years and was a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, James Rayburn Pursley and Virginia of Lewisburg; his niece, Judy Nash of Lewisburg; her nephew, Glenn Offutt and Wanda of Auburn; his great-nieces, Carol Lee Lawrence of Lewisburg and Tracy Payne of Bowling Green; his great-great-nephews, Jeremy Nash of Austin, Texas, and Matt Talley of Bowling Green; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Minnie Louise Pursley will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 3, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Gifford and Bro. Gary Dawson officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday, March 2, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of the service.
Pallbearers: Logan Talley, Daylan Lawrence, Jason Lawrence, Matt Talley, Carol Lee Lawrence and Roger Rainwaters Jr.
