Ruth Cox, 85, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her home. She was a Logan County native born Dec. 7, 1934 to the late Carl Bray and Edith Glenn Bray. She worked in the Logan County Circuit Court Clerk’s office for over 20 years and was a member of Dripping Spring Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Cox; her daughters, Debbie Wilkins and husband Steve of Russellville and Suzanne Robertson and husband Clark of Corpus Christi, Texas; her brothers, Richard Bray of Russellville and Marion ‘Buddy’ Bray of Orlando; her grandchildren, Joe Dan Hite and Ben Hite; and her great-grandchild, Karsten Hite.
Private services for the family of Ruth Cox will be held with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Dripping Spring Baptist Church Building Fund.
