Coy Ray Johnson, 81, of Russellville, formerly of Adairville, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville, Tenn. He was a Logan County native, born Jan. 13, 1939 to the late Luther Johnson and Easter Delk Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid outdoorsman.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Cynthia Renea Johnson and Lisa Michelle Johnson; his brother, Joe E. Johnson; and his sister, Barbara Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Johnson; his daughter, Donna Pittman and husband Chris of Clarksville; his brother, Harold E. Johnson of Adairville; and his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services for Coy Ray Johnson will be held at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
