Sherolyne Elizabeth Hinton, 91, of Lewisburg, died on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Lewisburg.
She was born Tuesday, March 19, 1929 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Walter Larmon and the late Ruth Walton Larmon. She was the wife of the late Lewis Dalton Hinton.
She was a homemaker and was very involved with Open Hearts Open Hands, Inc. and was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Heltsley (Rex) and Rita Coursey (Lonnie), all of Lewisburg; her sister, Sarah Snead of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, L.D. Hinton Jr. and Mitch Hinton, and her daughter, Pam Danks.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Gary Ball officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, at Price Funeral Home and again after noon on Wednesday, May 27.
This statement from Price Funeral Home: “Under the current state requirements for funeral services, we are limited to an attendance of no more than 33 percent of our capacity, which is 75 people who can attend. We will be taking everyone's temperature as you enter and we ask that you wear a mask. There can be no social gathering to stand and talk and everyone is asked to remain six feet apart. Other requirements will be posted at the funeral home.”
