Joyce Russell Morgan, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born in Logansport, Ind. on Jan. 7, 1931 to the late William Edward Russell and Grace Linkous Russell. She was a homemaker and caregiver and avid gardener. She was a member of Red Oak Grove United Methodist Church for 72 years where she was a soloist for her church choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Morgan Sr., and her grandson, Eddie Morgan.
She is survived by her sons, Phil Morgan, Kenny Morgan and Annabelle, and David Morgan and Joyce Ann, all of Russellville; her daughter, Pam Morgan of Russellville; her brother, Eddy Russell and JoAnn of Russellville; her sisters-in-law, Joan Morgan Croslin of Russellville and Virginia Hale of Murray; her brothers-in-law, Marion Morgan and Ann of Madisonville and George Hunt of Morrisville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Public graveside services for Joyce Russell Morgan will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Red Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Randy Jones, Pastor Karen Franklin and Pastor Clyde Delk officiating. There will be no public visitation before the graveside service. Please observe the CDC guidelines of six feet social distancing and wearing of face coverings.
