James Douglas Gray, 83, of Russellville, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at his home in Russellville.

He was born Wednesday, May 26, 1937, the son of the late James Forrest Gray and the late Lucille Boren Gray. He was the husband of the late Mary Bradley Gray.

He was a truck driver for Carpenter Co., a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Surviving are his son, Michael Gray (Tammy); his daughters, Carol Hackney (Terry) and Hope Moore (Bucky); his brothers, Kenneth Gray and Earl Gray, all of Russellville; and his nine grandchildren and his 14 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by daughter, Daphna Lucille Kinser.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg with Bro. David Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery, Auburn.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, at Price Funeral Home. There will also be a public visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. 

Due to current mandates and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is required that a mask be worn at all times while inside the funeral home.
