Julie Christine Haskins, 61, of Russellville, submitted her life on Sept. 2, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her father, Karl C. Schaefer of Gunnison, Col. She is survived by her husband, Tom Haskins, and three children, James Sloan of Madison, Tenn., Stephanie Wilkerson (Nick) of Franklin and their children, Annabella and Alexander, and Brayden Haskins of Russellville.
As a profession, Julie earned an Engineering Degree from Tennessee Tech University and served a career for several industries in aircraft and manufacturing.
In life she was first a mother to her three wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren, all of whom she never hesitated to openly share her feelings of pride and adoration. In 1981, while at college, she became the best friend and partner to a somewhat difficult man, making a home for them both wherever they went.
Julie convinced her family long ago of her wishes to be cremated. Due to the CDC guidelines and restrictions, there will be no services at this time. The family may elect to have a memorial gathering at a later date.
