Margaret Ann Johnson, 84, of the Dot Community, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at Hopkins Nursing Facility in Woodburn. She was a Logan County native, born July 8, 1936 to the late Rayburn McIntosh and Nina Hines McIntosh. She worked as bookkeeper for Key Oil Company for many years and was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church where she served as past secretary. She also worked as a sales representative for Stanley Home Products, loved cooking and piecing quilts.
She is survived by her son, Barry Johnson and Cathy of Adairville; her brother, Glenn McIntosh and Linda of Adairville; her sister, Geraldine Wright and J.W. of Adairville; her granddaughter, Kelsey Gibbs and P.J.; and two grandchildren, Tripp and Ella Gibbs.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett Johnson.
Graveside services for Margaret Ann Johnson will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville with Bro. Allen Woodard and Bro. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Everyone is encouraged to follow CDC guidelines of Social Distancing and wearing of face coverings. There will be no public visitation held prior to the graveside services.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association; envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
