Tricia "Patty" Dean Whitaker, 80, of Dunmor, died on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at her home in Dunmor.
She was born Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1940 in Penrod, the daughter of the late William Garteen DeArmond and the late Susie Fleming DeArmond. She was the wife of the late J.I. Whitaker.
She was employed by Muhlenberg County School System. Prior to that she was employed by Red Kap.
She was also a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Terry Whitaker Lana of Dunmor; her sister, Velma Sue Jenkins of Lewisburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Billy DeArmond and Darrell DeArmond, and her sister, Hazel Myers.
A graveside service will held Saturday at Dunmor Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
