Dorothy ‘Dot’ Duncan Gilliam, 89, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green She was born in Russellville to the late George and Elaine Nash Duncan on Feb. 17, 1931. She was a retired production worker from Rockwell Manufacturing after 40 years of service. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and was also an avid gardener.
She is survived by her sons, Tim Gilliam and Melanie of Cincinnati and Mike Gilliam and Cari of Russellville; her brother, James ‘Sonny’ Duncan of Russellville; her sisters, Liz Davis and Martha Carol Duncan, both of Russellville; and four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Dorothy ‘Dot’ Gilliam will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Arno Kranz and Bro. David Youngblood officiating with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. A Walk-Through Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, from 5-7 p.m. and again on Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
