Nelda Kay Borders, 79, of Dover, Tenn., passed away, Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at her home. She was born June 4, 1941 in Penrod, daughter of the late Orville and Floeva Hughes Joines.
Kay was a member of the Bear Springs Baptist Church. She retired from the Tarrant County Head Start System.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Charles David Borders Jr., and her brother-in-law, John Burt.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Borders of Dover; her sisters, Billie Burt of Dover, Sherry Anthony (Richard) of Lake Jackson, Texas; her brother, Dale Joines (Freida) of Lewisburg; and her nephews, Trevor Anthony of Lake Jackson and Will Anthony, Austin, Texas.
