Edna Pearl Skipworth, 86, of Lewisburg, died on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
She was born Friday, April 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter Joines and the late Dovie Garrett Joines. She was the wife of the late Shellie Skipworth.
She was a homemaker and a member of Joines Chapel General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her step-daughters, Carolyn Sue McCall (Bill) of Russellville and Phyllis Kaye Bilbrey (Dallas) of Russellville, KY; her step- sons, Darrell D. Skipworth of Lewisburg and Roger Dale Skipworth (Carole) of Elkton, KY; 25 step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren and several step-great-great grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew.
She was predeceased by her brother, Granvile Joines, and her sister, Marie Coursey of Evansville, Ind.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg. Interment will be in Joines Chapel Cemetery, Clifty.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Price Funeral Home.
Due to current mandates and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are currently only able to allow 75 people in the building at one time, not including employees or clergy. It is also required that a mask be worn correctly and at all times while inside the funeral home.
