Rodney Lee Werth, 87, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born in Saginaw, Mich. on March 17, 1933 to the late Carl Henry Herman Werth and Ruth Marie Roosa Werth. He was in the U.S. Navy Reserves and worked for Dow Corning and Rockwell International.
He was a member of the United Methodist Temple and an active member of the Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Dorothy Werth; his sons, Christopher Werth of Hernando, Miss., Timothy Werth and Laura of Huntsville, Ala., Joseph Werth of Stacey of Louisville, and Andrew Werth and Erin of Flushing, Mich.; and his ten grandchildren.; his sister, Susan Stemler and Kim of Saginaw, Mich.
A Drive Through Visitation for Rodney Lee Werth will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with a private memorial held later. Please observe CDC guidelines of 6 feet distancing and wearing of face coverings.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
