Thomas Al Chapman, 92, of Allensville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Keysburg on Aug. 2, 1928 to the late Cyrus Coleman Chapman Sr. and Bennie Claude Riley Chapman.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War, a farmer and worked at Carpenter Company for 25 years. He was also a member at Mt Gilead Baptist Church in Allensville and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Lawrence Chapman.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Allen and Tommie Gail Bennett and Mark of Russellville, Darlene Watkins and Bobby of Olmstead, and Brenda Strickler and Bud and Mary Sue Tarter of Bowling Green; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Thomas Al Chapman will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Chapman officiating with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville.
A walk-through visitation at the funeral home on Monday will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Please observe CDC guidelines of six feet distancing and wearing of face coverings.
Memorial donations may be made to the Keysburg Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
