Private Services due to COVID-19


Curtis Ray Stuart, 88, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native, born Sept. 30, 1932 to the late Curtis Clyde Stuart and Ethel Williams Stuart. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, was a butcher for many years at Guions Market, then transitioned to a salesman for Frosty Morn and then retired with Ken Knight Electric.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stuart.

He is survived by his sons, Mike Stuart and wife Betty Sue of Bowling Green and Steve Stuart and wife Darlene of Rockfield; his brother, Warren Stuart and wife Darlene; his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Stuart and Annie Nash; his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and his six nieces and nine nephews. 

Due to the governor’s latest mandate, funeral services for Cutis Ray Stuart will be private. Online condolences can be made by visiting www.summersandsonfh.com.  

Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
