Ila Kathryn Stuart, 88, of Russellville, died on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
She was born Friday, June 3, 1932 in Russellville, the daughter of the late Herndon Piper and the late Ila Shelton Piper. She was the wife of the late James Stuart.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Jimmy Stuart (Darlene) and John Stuart (Lisa), all of Russellville; her daughter, Nancy Renfro (John David) of Russellville; her brothers, Donald Piper (Bonnie) of Russellville and Larry Piper of Guthrie; her sister, Lou Whalen (Jim) of Charlotte, N.C.; her brother-in-law, Waren Stuart (Betty) of Lewisburg; her sister-in-law, Charlene Piper of Russellville; and seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Piper.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Rev. Kenny Chyle officiating. Interment will be in Stuart's Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at Price Funeral Home.
Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
