Donald Ray Powell, 57, of Tennessee, formerly of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. He was a Logan County native, born June 9, 1963 to the late Douglas Ray Powell and Joyce Kinser Powell. He was a farmer and worked for Poore’s Nursery.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Kinser Powell; his daughters, Cassie Taylor and husband Matthew, Priscilla Christie and Bridget Powell, all of Russellville; his brother, Anthony Powell of Westmoreland, Tenn.; his sister, Brenda Boyd of Russellville; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service for Donald Ray Powell will be held at a later time. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
