William Narvel McPherson, 84, of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 at Creekwood Nursong and Rehabilitation in Russellville.
He was born March 22, 1936 in Clifty to the late Alfred and Effie Cisney McPherson.
Narvel was a faithful member of the Lewisburg Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and church treasurer for over 40 years.
He retired from Rockwell and BTR, where he was known as "Whitey Bill," after 40 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Baker McPherson; his daughter, Vereba Sue Jordan (Richard) of Rossville, Ga.; his sister, Sue Nell Jones of Greenville; his three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for William Narvel McPherson will be conducted Monday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E Green Street, Lewisburg, with Larry Baker and Pat Keirsteins officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
