Shirley Faye Penrod, 81, of Lewisburg, died on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was born Friday, Oct. 27, 1939 in Beech Creek, the daughter of the late John Forgy and the late Dorothy Knight Forgy. She was the wife of James Penrod, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church.
Also surviving her are sons, Pat Brown (Judy) of Russellville, David Brown (Terri) of Lewisburg, Junior Brown (Thelma) of Lewisburg, Mike Brown (Cindy) of Dickson, Tenn. and Chris Penrod of Russellville; her step-son, Jimmy Penrod of Lewisburg; her daughter, June Brown of Lewisburg; her step-daughter, Anna Lois Cason (David) of Lewisburg; her brother, Terrell Forgy of Auburn; her sisters, Sharon Forgy of Russellville and Charlotte Forgy of Lewisburg; and her 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Emma Lou Forgy.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Darren Pentecost and Bro. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, at Price Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. and lasting until the time of the service.

Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
