Johnny Neal Brown, 54, of Russellville, died on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at TriStar SkyLine Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1966 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Drexel Brown and the late Jean Shoemake Belcher. He was the husband of Jamie Sears Brown, who survives.
He was the owner of Brown's Grave Service and dug graves for all of Logan County and the surrounding area.
He was also a member of Epley Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his daughter, Brandi Wilhite (Zach) of Russellville; his sister, Linda Wooldridge (Dwight) of Lewisburg; his step-father, Howard Belcher of Russellville; his step-sisters, Sandra Ford, Teresa Christmas, and Debbie Kay Belcher; and his step-brother, Lloyd Belcher.
He was predeceased by sister, Debbie Harper.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Parkside, located at 145 Parkside Way, Russellville, with Bro. Raleigh Blancett, Bro. Greg Brooks, and Shannon O'Neal officiating. Interment will be in J.B. Family Cemetery, Russellville.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Parkside. There will also be visitation at the church on Monday starting at 10 a.m. and lasting until the time of the service.
Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 221 inside the church facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
