Nancy Brigance, 79, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born May 6, 1941 to the late James Melvin Ogles and Clara Bell Lyons Ogles. She worked in retail for Hancocks Department store for many years and was a member of O’Roark United Methodist Church. She also loved her flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband James D. Brigance.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Wade Brigance of Goodlettsville, and her daughter, Jackie Pursley and husband Kevin of Russellville.
Funeral services for Nancy Brigance will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Travis Bryan officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Logan County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
