Delores Lorene Delk, 92, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at her home in Lewisburg.
She was born Monday, Nov. 19, 1928 in Todd County, the daughter of the late Coy Edwards and the late Laura McPherson Edwards. She was the wife of the late Wilmer Delk.
She was a secretary at the Nelson Company of KY for 52 years, was a member of the Lewisburg Church of Christ, and was a member of the Coonrange Campers.
Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Adler (Ronald) of Russellville and Sharon Brown (Bobby) of Sharon Grove; her sister, Sue Penrod of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Steven Costelow (Dena Fields) of Russellville, Patrick Costelow (Teresa) of Russellville, Derek Brown (Heather) of Sharon Grove; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Ashby (Tyler) of Russellville, Kayla Anderson (Logan) of Lewisburg, Autumn Tisdale (Camron) of Bowling Green, and Avery Brown of Sharon Grove; her great-great-grandchild, Emmery Anderson of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Jeff Penick and Jerry Crunk officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday, at Price Funeral Home.
Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
