Betty Waters, 97, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russellville, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the home of her daughter. She was a Logan County native, born June 18, 1923 to the late John Norcie Murphy and Cecil Gilliam Murphy. She was a homemaker and member of Post Oak Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Waters.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Waters Clinard of Bowling Green; her special granddaughter, Kim Griffin Spencer of Bowling Green; and her great-grandson, Colton James Spencer.
The family of Betty Waters has chosen to have a private service under the direction of Summers and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
