Frances Laverne Baker, 74, of Russellville, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a Hamlin, Texas native, born Nov. 20, 1946 to the late Payne Hattox and Lucy Carlson Hattox. She was a retired x-ray technician in Texas, loved camping, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, playing poker and woodworking.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Baker; her son, Richard Lee Baker of Sylva, N.C.; her daughters, Christine Diane Milton and husband Jeffrey Williams of Taylor, Mich., and Cindy Renee Gower and husband William of Adams, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Tyler Perez and husband Felipe, Megan Milton, Bailey Milton, William Gower and wife Katherine, Jeffory Gower, Alyssa Adkins and husband Glenn, and Seth Gower; her great-grandchildren, Braison Ellis, Sparrow Gower, Leo Perez and Isla Adkins; her closest friends, Mary Ann Baise, Joyce Hudgens and Sandy Harrison; and her beloved Yorkie, Sara Jane.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Hattox, and her niece, Monica Diane Hattox.
Funeral services for Frances Laverne Baker will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Al Evans officiating with burial to follow at Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour
