Debra Sue Poole Owens, 65, of Adairville, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at NHC in Springfield. She was a Logan County native, born Oct. 22, 1955 to the late William Henry Poole and Kerry Dale Shanklin Poole. She worked in quality assurance for the Auburn Hosiery Mill for years and was a member of United Methodist Church in Adairville.
She is survived by her son, Jason Owens of Springfield; her daughter, April Elliott and husband Jerry of Springfield; her brothers, William Henry ‘Billy’ Poole Jr. and wife Laura of Russellville and Terry Wayne Poole and wife Tonya of Adairville; her sister, Kathy Elaine Fulton and husband Walt of Lamont, Tenn.; and her grandson, William Deven Elliott and Daniel Scott Elliott, both of Springfield.
Funeral services for Sue Poole Owens will be conducted Friday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at Summers and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday, June 17, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
