Carl Edwin Kenworthy, 83 of Belton, Kentucky died on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Alive Hospice in Madison, Tennessee.
He was born Saturday, December 28, 1929 in Lynn, Indiana, the son of the late Paul Kenworthy and the late Alta Ward Kenworthy. He was the husband of Frances Kenworthy, who survives.
He was a lineman for Bell Telephone Company until his retirement in 1991. He took up his second career of semi driving for Lynn Elevator (IN) in 1994 and retired at age 82 in 2012.
He was an Army veteran in the Korean War and a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
Surviving are son, Kevin Francis Kenworthy of Tallahassee, FL, daughters, Cheryl Crafton (Dr. Terry A) of Lewisburg, KY, Mary Elizabeth Shimp (Rick) of Greenwood, IN and Catherine Elizabeth Kenworthy of Belton, KY, sister, Barbara Jean Moore of Greenville, OH, special nephew, Harold Borneman of Finchville, KY; 12 grand children; 7 great grand children, 3 step grand children; and 3 step-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brother, Paul Edward Kenworthy, and granddaughter, Seana Kay Thompson.
A celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the family members and friends officiating. Interment will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Belton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
