Ray Humphreys, 71, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russellville, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Los Angeles, on Oct. 4, 1949, to the late John Humphreys and Opal Humphreys. He was a general manager for Bonanza and Insurance salesman for Combined Life Insurance Company. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid bird watcher.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy Humphreys; his son, Jon Humphreys of Laura through Savannah, Ga.; his daughter, Kim Everett and husband Bryan of Braselton, Ga.; his grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Sarah, Ruth, Lydia, Joshua, Mariana and Esther.
Funeral services for Ray Humphreys will be conducted at noon on Thursday, July 8, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Humphreys and Bro. Kenny Chyle officiating with burial to follow in Gant Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Thursday will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour of noon.
