David Gaines, 61, of Russellville, passed away at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green on Sept. 10, 2021. He is the son of the late Roscoe and Virginia Gaines and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Stella Joyce Gaines.
He is survived by his sons, John Gaines, Randall Young, Brian Young, and Jr. Young; his daughter, Lisa McKinney; his sister, Donna McKinney; his brother, Randy Gaines; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was a boilermaker for many years and loved learning new things daily along with reading. He also loved baking for everyone.
Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 13, from 4-8 p.m. in the Celebration Chapel at Kirby Funeral Services with Cremation to follow. Burial will be at a later date in Auburn Cemetery.
