Jane Johnson, 89, of Bowling Green, formerly of Auburn, passed away Saturday Oct. 9, at Auburn Health Care. She was a Logan County native, born April 12, 1932 to the late Alfred Owen Yates and Elizabeth Ann McPhail Yates. She was a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Loyd Johnson II, and a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Johnson.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Clarence Johnson of Auburn and John Wayne Johnson of Franklin; her daughter, Clarissa Bowers and husband Larry of Bowling Green; her sisters, Edith Swift of Oregon, Lucy Edwards of Russellville, Connie Sitz of Lewisburg and Dorris Grace of Adairville; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
Funeral services for Jane Johnson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Summers and Son Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home will be held from noon until the service hour.
