Bill Denton, 80, of Olmstead, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at his son’s home in Georgia. He was born in Nashville on July 4, 1941 to the late Eugene Denton and Katherine Clark Denton. He served in the U.S. National Guard, was a design coordinator for Nashville Office Interiors and was a member of Meridian Methodist Church in Nashville.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jane Wall Denton; his sons, Dr. Kevin Denton and wife Dr. Dale Denton of Cuero, Texas and Brian Denton and wife Dr. Kim Denton of Blue Ridge, Ga.; and his grandchildren, Will and Jacob Denton of Texas and Madison Denton of Georgia.
Funeral services for Bill Denton will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Chapman officiating with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville. Visitation at the funeral home Friday will be held from noon until the service hour.
