Grover Allen Corum, 95, of Auburn, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at Auburn Health Care in Auburn. He was born in Manchester, on Nov. 21, 1926, to the late John Henry Corum and Clyda Nelson Corum.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, the co-owner of the Auburn Nursing Center, Inc. and former manager of the Logan Telephone Coop. He was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon. He was a graduate of UK College of Agriculture, a founding supporter of South Union Shaker Village, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Paul Harris Fellow of Auburn Rotary Club. He assisted in the development of the City of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pipkin Corum.
He is survived by his son, Allen Corum and wife Tammy of Auburn; his daughters, Vickie Corum and Sherrie Pryor, both of Auburn; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family of Grover Allen Corum will have a private service at a later date.
