Julie Hester, 52, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022 at her home. She was born in Camp Lejeune, Va. on Sept. 13, 1969. She was a caterer, loved her horses and crafting. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her mother, Pam Segerlin; her father, Jack Harris; her husband, Scotty Hester; her sons, Brandon Harris and wife Shantel of Russellville and Gabriel Combs and wife Allie of Auburn; her daughters, Dana Clark and husband Brent of Rochester, and Courtney Searing and husband Luke and Danielle Stratton and husband Bradley, all of Russellville; her brothers, J.C. Harris and wife Jessica of Georgia and Shawn Segerlin and Michael Segerlin, both of North Carolina; her sisters, Jenny Harris and Josh Showaniec of New York and Joanna Dougan and husband Maher of North Carolina; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Julie Hester will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Randy Hester officiating with burial to follow in the Tree Lot Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Hosparus Health of Barren River. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
